NOTES IN THE WALL

Moshe Kempinski

It has been an ancient custom to leave  notes with prayers in the cracks between the Stones of the Western Wall

The question is why would such a custom even be contemplated.

First , these stones are on a wall that surrounded the temple mount that was not the wall of the Temple.

Secondly G-d hears our prayer everywhere we turn to him, why the urgent need to put the notes called  Kvitelech here.

Thirdly and most importantly G-d does not need to “read ” a note  to know what is in your heart.

FINALLY ..The concept of G-d having a dwelling place  in our limited realm of reality makes no sense. AND YET IT SEEMS HASHEM HAD ANOTHER VISION
